Banners may be of any size up to 60 pixels in height and 468 pixels in width, and may be animated. There is no absolute limit on the file size of banners, but as a general rule, they shouldn't exceed 10k. (The smaller the better! They'll load faster, and are thus more likely to be seen!).
All advertising on toolady.com is based on banner exposures, or impressions. (This is the method most often used on the Web, and is comparable to paying for a magazine or newspaper ad on the basis of subscription numbers.) Any time a visitor views your banner or its alternative text, it counts as an exposure.
