The best friend I have is very funny,
She often smells like sweetened honey.
She is talkative, nice, smart and sweet,
She can even go tweet, tweet.
She is blue and green with a big black beak,
She plays lots of games like hide-and-go-seek.
She says cute things like "Hi, sweety,"
She always reminds me of a little baby Tweety.
When she first got here we thought she was a boy,
But then all we saw was a bundle of joy.
She sits on top of the fridge,
Often playing with old film lids.
She calls to the dog by saying "Hey, you Mutt,"
Then she turns to her bird friend, Little Sunbutt.
They play with each other all day and all night,
Together they make the cutest of sight.
They sometimes go too far and start to wander,
The best friends I have are little baby conures.
