We are so lucky to have found Dr. Connie Orcutt, who cares for Taco, our jenday conure, and Zoey, our Goffin cockatoo. Dr. Orcutt, who is a diplomat of the american board of veterinary practioners, is part of a practice that includes Dr. Stephen Dyer and Dr. Tracey Ritzman, at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. It's great to know that Angell's Avian and Exotics service is staffed 7 days a week. Dr. Orcutt's dedication to her avian patients is evident in the care she gives our birds and the time she takles to answer our questions. (I know because I ask lots of questions!) She understands that our birds are part of our family and treats them with kindness and patience. I wholeheartedly reccomend Dr. Orcutt and the avian practice at Angell. I can't imagine Taco and Zoey being treated anywhere else!

I have been taking my fids here, for two years--two times for emergencies when my eclectus was ill, the rest for general check-ups. They are both very compassionate and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in our area that needs an avian vet.

Specialized care for birds, dogs and cats.I do believe that Dr. McMillan is the best vet in New England for birds, cats and dogs, and the only place to go in Boston. The head veterinarian is known nationally for her knowledge about parrots and all three of the veterinary staff are of top quality and ALWAYS give my three parrots their full attention.
