I bring my Congo African Gray and my Labrador into Dr. Watson. He's been great! He ahs been one of the few that actually tells people realistic things to do for problems with their animals, is very knowledgeable and has the time to sit down with you and go over everything that you may want too. One of the techs there also has a gray and recommended him to me (to me that says a lot!) You can even call the office and get some help on the phone from one of the techs or Dr. Watson himself.

I wanted to say thank you for this site, I found here, then took my CAG to Parkway after seeing THREE other Certified Avian Vets. It was a last ditch effort that I really hoped for only more information on what to expect from a viral process that I was told little could be done for. In two visits they got her beak looking normal and I am finding myself hopeful for the first time in a long time - please post under michigan clinic my story too

Dr. Bankstahl is a lifesaver...literally! He was able to save my African Grey "louie" after we found out that he had psitticosis (unfortunately I had purchased him from a disreputable breeder). We think that he is absolutely the best vet in the world. He treats our four birds like they were his own.
