A Little About Me
My Name is Briana French. I live in Bemidji, Minnesota and have lived here for only 3 years. I am a full time student at Bemidji State University currently majoring in Creative Writing. I have been working with birds for 6 years and have only recently started breeding. Northern MN does not have a huge market for birds hence the website, but it is starting to get bigger. I am the only peachface lovebird breeder in Bemidji and in the surrounding areas (I believe). My babies are handfed, handraised, abundance weaned and very tame. They thrive on human attention and affection. They are flighted while at my home and get to fly around and play with my BH Caique, Dweezel. They are used to car rides as I bring them on trips with me when I need to handfeed. I work from home so all my babies get lots of daily attention!
I have been handfeeding birds for 5 years. I started working with birds when I was working at Petco (as a Companion Animal Specialist) in 2001. I am knowledgable with fish, reptiles and amphibians, small critters, birds, cats and dogs. I have had almost every kind of animal at one time or another. Currently I own 1 dog (Raven, a Doberman/Husky/Shepard mix), 2 Black Headed Caiques (Dweezel and Zorro), and 7 lovebirds (not including current babies for sale). I also have a 90 gallon saltwater tank that I have forfeited to my family since I could not take it with me from the Twin Cities. If you have any questions about me, please let me know!
