Sales Policy
As of May 1st, 2008, deposit policies have changed. To put a baby on hold, there is a non-refundable 25-40% deposit (depending on species). If you decide to not buy the baby, you may transfer the deposit to another baby within 7 days after deposit is made. Deposits will be held for 6 months if there is no baby immediately available.
To be put on the waiting list is free and comes with no obligations. The waiting list is in place until babies hatch and you will be notified of such. After babies are pulled for handfeeding, you will be asked if you would like to put a baby on hold for a deposit. At this time, babies will be priced according to color mutation. You have 1 week after the first email notification of babies being handfed to respond before being dropped from the waiting list. Babies will not be sent home until they are fully weaned unless otherwise worked out between buyer and myself. Breeders may buy unweaned babies with no guarantee.
All handfed and handraised babies have a 30 day guarantee. This guarantee is only valid if the baby is seen by a qualified avian vet within the first 7 days of purchase. Please ask about further guarantee policies.
Deposits may be paid in check, money order, PayPal, or cash. Deposits paid in check will be held as unpaid until check clears. Deposits paid in cash, PayPal or money order will be accepted as paid as soon as the deposit is made. If the balance is paid in check, purchaser will not receive baby until the check has cleared, unless the deposit was paid in check.
All supply sales are final.
Delivery Fees vary depending on location. You may be asked to include your delivery fee in the deposit. Please ask for a quote.
