I like a good bargain, but sometimes shopping drives me nuts! Having to drive all over the place and deal with crowds of people takes all the fun out of it. Plus, there's a major distraction factor that really gets to me: Some stores have so much stuff, I get easily overwhelmed feeling like I want to look at everything, but at the same time, I just want to GET OUT! There are lots of others who have this same problem, which is why buying things over the internet is so popular, and why I've put together my own little 'mall'.
Check out these merchants that offer great products at great prices, all with secure transactions. Avoid the traffic, parking, crowds and long lines and get your purchases shipped right to your door.
I will only promote companies that I trust and have found to be reliable, so please know that these sites are the real deal, and that your shopping experience will be a good one.

Pet supplies and gift items
Animal lovers should check this out for sure!Magnets, calendars, jewelry, coasters, t-shirts, stuffed toys, and all kinds of other fun items. This site is a great source for gifts, and they include a wide selection of animals, from common pets to more exotic and unique animals.

Drs Foster Smith has a large selection of pet supplies for all types of pets, from the smallest to the largest. Their website is full of tips and articles on pet care, and the prices are usually better than what you'll find a local pet shops. They have great sales, too. Their staff is knowledgeable and can help you with product selection if you need it.
Jeffers not only has horse supplies, but also items for farm animals and pets. It's like 3 different websites in one, so if you click on the Equine site you can easily get to the other sections, where you'll find a good selection and excellent prices.
Health
If you're interested in holistic health, you'll like Gaiam's selection of environmentally friendly bedding, clothing, and home items. They also have a large selection of fitness products, especially for yoga and Pilates. Their 'Go Zero' shipping option allows you to offset the ecological impact of shipping your order by helping The Conservation Fund plant trees. More information about this is on the website.
Home, garden, entertainment
One-stop shopping for books, music, DVDs, toys, calendars, and unique gift items. If you're like us, and you like books, you'll love this website because the selection is just so huge, you'll have more choices than what you usually see in the store. And I've received an unforeseen benefit from a B&N online visit: Whenever I go into the local Barnes & Noble store I always end up getting stuff I hadn't planned on getting, which is fun to a point, but not so easy on the budget. Shopping the on-line version has saved me from 'impluse buy syndrome'! And I've probably saved some calories from not being exposed to the dark chocolate candy bars they have at the check-out counter! ;-)
Kitchen, bath, bed, garden, ranging from everyday items to unique products you're not likely to run into just anywhere. This is another type of store I tend to 'get lost' in and spend a long time just looking around, which my husband really, really hates. Looking at the website is almost as fun, but I'm able to be more focused on my purchase without getting too carried away and without boring Ron to death.
A gardener's dream site! They have just about every outdoor plant imaginable, always shipped healthy and ready to grow. Planting and designing guides help you create the best landscaping and gardens for your climate and yard conditions.
One of my favorites! Some of the best prices on anything related to running and walking: shoes, clothing, accessories and supplements. Additional discounts and free shipping for VIP customers. Great sales, too.
Unique gift items and home products for everyone who likes science and nature. Books, videos, clothing, calendars, and more. Help support the National Geographic Society, which is one of the largest non-profit scientific and educational organizations in the world.
Probably ebay needs no explanation, but here's the gist of it, just in case you aren't sure it's something you could use. Ebay is the world's biggest online auction/shopping site where you can buy or sell just about anything, literally. New stuff, used stuff, everyday items to rare collectables, it's all there (notice they even use 'it' in their ads). You don't always have to bid on what you want since many items have a 'buy it now' feature. It's reliable, secure and easy to navigate, and there's no cost to bid. With the amount of money we spend on athletic clothing and gear, we like ebay a lot!

If you're a fan of outlet malls, and like to hunt for real bargains on name-brand stuff, this is the site for you. It's one of the first places you should go if you're looking for something specific, but it's also fun to check in just to see what deals they're having that day. You may get to the point where you'll never want to pay retail ever again.
Amazon.com is one of those sites that carries so many products it's hard to list them all (like videos, music, books, sports equipment, clothing, home products and even food!) so you just have to visit to see for yourself. You can usually find some awesome deals. The site is super easy to use, too, so if you know what you want you can find it. Well worth checking it out!

How often has this happened to you: You're at Walmart and you see something that interests you but you don't buy it then. The next time you're at Walmart you look for that item and they don't have it any more. With the Walmart online store, you can order something and have it sent either to your home or to your local store for pick up. In fact, you can do almost all of your Walmart shopping from home and get the good prices without all the pain-in-the-butt aspects of actually being at Walmart!
Want fresh herbs, salad greens or tomatoes but don't have much of a green thumb? This thing is awesome! No dirt, no mess, no worrying about whether or not your plants are getting enough water or sunlight. I've tried growing herbs before and never had had any luck, but the AeroGarden is pretty much full-proof. It looks good, smells good, and is easy to do.
More shopping opportunities are on the way, so please check back from time to time as I add more merchants.
